Integral Advantage — Accredited CEUs
IACET-Accredited CEUs
Continuing education that counts — and transfers.

As an IACET Accredited Provider, every unit we award is calculated and documented to the ANSI/IACET 2018-1 Standard. That’s what makes the credit portable: it’s recognized across government, the private sector, and higher education — not just a certificate, but a unit your people carry with them.

1CEU = 10Contact Hours

One contact hour is 60 minutes of qualifying instruction. The smallest unit we issue is 0.1 CEU, and CEUs are always awarded in tenths.

How the hours are counted
Qualifying instruction + Assigned reading, pre-work & assessment − Breaks, meals & travel ÷ 10 = Your CEUs
Example: a 6-hour workshop plus 2 hours of required, outcome-aligned reading is 8 contact hours — 0.8 CEU. Out-of-class time counts only when it’s assigned, tied to the learning outcomes, and documented. Time alone never earns credit; qualifying, documented learning does.
Recognized where it matters

Because the credit is issued under a national standard, it carries the same weight wherever your leaders take it.

Government Agencies

Accepted for federal and public-sector training and professional-development requirements.

Private Sector

Employer-recognized professional development — reimbursable, and portable across roles and organizations.

Educational Institutions

Recognized continuing education, and creditable toward academic programs at the institution’s discretion.

Engineered to the ANSI/IACET Standard

Credit is never awarded for time alone. Every program is built so the learning is intentional, measurable, and documented:

  • Measurable learning outcomes defined before the program is designed
  • Content and instruction delivered by qualified practitioners
  • Learner assessment mapped directly to those outcomes
  • Complete learner records and CEU issuance documentation
  • Evaluation and continuous improvement built into every offering
Integral Advantage — IACET Accreditation Process
IACET Accreditation
What it takes to earn — and keep — Accredited Provider status.

IACET Accreditation is a rigorous, commission-reviewed process that verifies every aspect of how an organization designs, delivers, and evaluates continuing education and training against the ANSI/IACET Standard. It’s earned, not purchased.

01
Eligibility Assessment

The organization reviews the ANSI/IACET Standard criteria and completes the Accreditation Readiness Calculator to identify gaps before applying.

02
Application & Self-Study

The applicant purchases the ANSI/IACET Standard and application package, then documents every policy, process, and piece of evidence against each category of the Standard.

03
Commission Review

The IACET Commission evaluates the full application, verifying that the stated processes, policies, and evidence meet every element of the ANSI/IACET Standard.

04
Accreditation Interview

IACET conducts a structured virtual interview with organizational leadership — confirming that the documented practices are actually in use. There is no shortcut for this step.

05
Accreditation Awarded

On approval, the organization is designated an IACET Accredited Provider — authorized to issue CEUs recognized by federal agencies, universities, and licensing boards worldwide.

06
5-Year Re-Accreditation

Accreditation is renewed every five years, with the full application and review repeated. The ongoing cycle ensures standards are maintained — not just met once.
